Submit a Review"I love that I have the opportunity to help someone get back on track everyday. I do not like that many responsibilities are being taken away from me and being outsourced."
"The work was a little mundane at times but the environment was great. My co-workers and I still keep in touch and are a part of each other's lives. Taking inventory and things of that nature were not up my alley, but I learned to love it by the time I was finished. I loved the troubleshooting aspects and repair aspects as well."
"I love the gratification of helping someone resolve their computer problem. I hate it when computer illiterate users expect you to do all the work for them or when a user complains that having to change a password is sooooooooooooo difficult. I also hate it when a user asks for help only to leave the office when you arrive or when supporting community based users they call for help with connecting from their laptop and then they tell you the machine is not with them. Casting a spell can't fix it."
"I have no problems at all, it is great working with clients in both difficult and easy tasks."
"I love doing my job. I love the constant change and the environment."
"I love working as a system support specialist because I like to solve customer issues. There are a lot of times where I have to resolve complex inquiries and that's the most exciting aspect of the job. I am very customer oriented. The only downfall would be the pay. We've recently taken on additional tasks in our department and were not compensated for our new responsibilities. Often, I am working 10-15 overtime hours per week."
"I love the System Support Specialist because I'm part of the I.T. department and I worked on different things and projects. What I didn't like was that we were only 5 people doing a lot of things plus taking calls."
"Technical support is a fulfilling position, and being able to assist a user in solving the problem brings both an excellent learning experience, as well as satisfaction about a job well done."
