"The people I worked with were awesome and knew if they needed a quick and accurate solution they could come to me. They knew when they needed something they would just need to ask and all went well. I went above and beyond the requirements."

"The philosophy is no longer being implemented due to the fact that the corporation, which has taken over, feels that it is unnecessary to continue with those ideals."
What don't you like about working at Pacific Oaks College?
"The company was created many years ago and the people there were caught in that rut. Many of the ideas and needs of technology was often lost."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The ideals of the founders were sound and need to be kept and nurtured. Since being bought out by another college I am afraid these are being lost and the reputation and good feelings of the organization needs to be revisited."

"I get to have hands on experience with a wide range of technology.. I work on servers, workstations, routers, switches, wireless, etc all in one place!"

"Be yourself. Be honest. Be prepared to be asked questions that are out of the scope of the position you are applying for."

"Somewhat monotonous. There aren't many opportunities for upward mobility within my vertical."

"Focus less on developing bureaucratic processes, and focus more on being customer focused."

"Competative compensation leads to high level of talent. Cutting the budget leads to bleeding talent and we all can't hang in there forever."

"Some people were great to work with there but others would stab you in the back to claw their way to the top."

"If you are a butt kisser, stand in line. If you are not a butt kisser, move on."

"Nepotistic employees are ONLY interested in saving their own skin, do not support those under them, and act like hierarchical supremes. The culture is arrogant and sick."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Fire the nepotists and hire someone qualified. Get rid of the Friends of who make as much as professional athletes, and get good business people at less than half the salary."

"I enjoy the opportunities to learn new aspects of IT, such as project management and security. I like being able to do multiple functions since I am the sole field IT support in my current location."

"My management had very little direction from the parent's management team and did not want to inquire or generate new opportunities."

"It was located in Sioux Falls, SD, and not the twin cities which is where I enjoy living."

"The only suggestion I would have for management is to communicate more with their employees. Sometimes I found out about stuff after the fact which was not good for productivity."

"It has a big name, but the company was smaller than many I worked with which made resources hard to attain."

"Xerox is a very fair and supporttive company to work for. I've enjoyed working here for the past 22 years."

"I think there will be some good opportunity at ACS and in the Sales division."

"Nothing really, its just that our market is effected by changing technology and the future is becoming smaller and smaller printing products and solutions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Nothing that I can think of. They are headed in a right direction by the purchasing ACS(IT Outsource Company). I believe this move will make Xerox/ ACS have a future."
What do you like about working at Unisys?
"I really liked the people I worked with. They were a great bunch of guys and definitely had a feeling of watching out for each other and helping everyone excel."

"You have to work extremely hard to get ahead in the company. You will probably gain responsibilities but no additional upward movement of your position or compensation. But if you have pride in your work it can be rewarding."
What don't you like about working at Unisys?
"This was the only account that Unisys had in the state of Indiana. So unfortunately we were so far out of the loop with Unisys we got overlooked for a lot of company things... benefits, gratitude, etc."

"Give credit where credit is due... I don't necessarily mean money... I mean that a Thanks! and Good job! go a long way with people."
