"The people. Everyone was knowledgeable, personable, and hard-working. Even when it was crunch-time and not as much fun, the company really stepped up and provided free lunches and managers gave extra afternoons off once the project goals were met."

"Come across as intelligent, knowledgeable, ready to join the team, and prepared to work hard to make contributions."
What don't you like about working at Symantec?
"Some of the economic pressures made some raise questions about whether or not we'd be able to remain employed, which was stressful."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep it up. Stay in the loop as much as possible with what's going on with the larger company, and report that back to underlings to help keep people motivated."

"I do not like to work for this company. Employee will try to have inappropriate relationship with other co-worker for 360 review and award recommendation. Management does nothing about the problem."

"Interview with your future potential team member and manager before making decision."
What don't you like about working at Symantec?
"I have seen a female software engineer who was an intern at Symantec last year has developed inappropriate relationship with a married senior software engineer. She wants the full time job and easy access to other resources and excellent 360 review. She dated married senior software engineer who can help her to get what she wants. Some certain people is aware of problem but no one took any action to stop it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Symantec needs to educate its employee about the fairness of 360 review. No one should abuse it by developing inappropriate relationship with other co-worker."

"It's a global leader in its field. The emphasis is on the quality of care we give the customer. Facilities are awesome, new building, cafeteria, gym, all the perks."

"Depending on what product you are interviewing for, I'd make sure you know your stuff."

"So far the experience has been great, they could provide maybe a massage therapist on site."

"None at all, so far like I have stated above, it's been a great experience. The managers are very receptive, enjoy insight and very knowledgeable."
