"I've worked as a contractor for SVB since January I love the place, people are ways nice, you have a lot of freedom to do your job wherever you wanna do it, even if you want to do it from home. At the end, all developers need is his brain, a laptop, and an internet connection to get the job done!"
"Very political place. Management by intimidation is the motto. No guidance or mentoring in achieving your goals. On the relationship side you can only grow if your parent is part of the startup ecosystem or you have a pre-existing relationship with somebody on the management team. No original though leadership in terms of products or services. SVB is like the Egyptian plover. Picking food from the VC funds teeth."
