2.3Orders for taking photos at insurance claim sites sent by email. Take printouts to the site and take photos. Covered up to 35,000 square miles and up to 430 miles a day. Photos also taken at night at 2am sometimes. Also, up to 2-3 hours a day at home sending photos to the system and making calls.
The adjusters were very cool. The company was great at one time. Routes were manageable. But the last year was just nonsense. "Production model" did not count time worked at home or sitting in traffic, which was all the time. A totally bogus system that management used to work us like dogs in a junkyard. Better routes given to the "pets" gave them better stats, leaving the 430 mile routes to the rest of us while expecting the same amount of claims to get done. Other reviews about "making your own schedule" are misleading. Due to the long routes and number of claims, 12 hour days were the norm. Night claims way too often, disrupting the schedule for the following day. Client availability dictated the schedule. Photographers do not get promoted. Managers hired from the outside.
1.7Terrible place to work , they have no concern for their employees , get paid 8, 9 or 10 days after you’re expense check is suppose to be paid. The D M l had was a waste of fresh air , he had no more sense running himself much less a crew. Would never answer his phone and most time wouldn’t call you back , same way with the company , home office , payroll lady just no communication , my suggestion to you and anyone that uses this company my opinion is for you to run
4.3I worked for StreetDelivery for three years. Overall the company is good if you are a person that can work independently and you don't need constant positive feedback to get by. The pay is much higher than a competitor that I used to work for doing the same job. The managers were nice, knowledgeable, but they don't put up with excuses. The down sides to the job are you drive a lot, sometimes expense checks are paid late and the customer service team (which is lead by the owners kid) doesn't really have a clue how the company runs.
