"There's a great team of people; I know the job inside out."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Find something else. Or (if you're desperate) take the job, give them what they want, (a robot with a big smile and no brain) then abandon them as soon as you find something new - don't leave it too long or you'll get stuck."

What don't you like about working at Starbucks?

"Monotonous; repetitive. Don't feel like I'm progressing, learning anything new or getting anywhere in life."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I wouldn't be expecting the staff to bend over backwards for the company - they don't care. Also wouldn't expect them to work weekends when I'm not ready to do it."

"The people, the business, and the wonderful benefits, all make Starbucks a wonderful working enviroment."

"Be personable, care about the customers and the work."

"The little things are often more managed than how I go about them."

"Hardly much different, maybe change some training routines and drink standards."

"Finish college, get a degree, don't begin in retail, it sucks your life out."

"Its too cookie-cutter corporate, and due to the lack of quality in most products, I cannot get enthusiastic enough to feel good about selling things."

"Slim down the offerings and focus on making better quality coffee and espresso beverages, not aimed for just quantity."

"I love the culture, my manager, my baristas, the environment, and most of the customers."

"Look sharp, smile a lot, be genuine, and be sure you want to be around coffee."

What don't you like about working at Starbucks?

"The district manager is an overbearing, micromanaging PIA. She often has unrealistic goals for us."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Howard is doing a great job honestly. The only thing I would do is give some of the older stores a facelift and end the licensing."

"The salary that am getting is nothing when compared to the hard work that I put in."

"Just to always have a positive attitude about whatever they decide to do. Be prepared for a vast range of personalities, and rewarding but long shifts."

What don't you like about working at Starbucks?

"Wide range of hours - 4am-10pm, job responsibilities. Overall monotony of the job, feeling as if we are doing the exact same thing everyday."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To empower the baristas a bit more. Give them responsibilities that allow them to develop into shift supervisors and managers, and don't just wait for someone to show up for such a role."
