"This was a great entry level opportunity for me but I need to be able to get out of my current job and grow into a mid-level developer."

What don't you like about working at SRA International?

"Since it was a government contractor it was hard to get funding for certain things we wanted to enhance which just lead to a lot of sitting around. This neither helped me or the company grow. It also is hard to move up in the ranks here."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Process improvement would be a big help because the way that the software improvement process now does not work because it leaves developers sitting around doing nothing."

"I worked for SRA International, Inc. from January 2011 to October 2011. My overall experience with the company was good, but my relationship with the customer was awful. The company did little to re-assign me another position within the company. Leadership was not very sympathetic to the differences of their employees, making my relationship un-pleasurable."

What do you like about working at SRA International?

"The hours and work location are good for easy commuting."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"In this bad economy take the job and continue to search for better opportunities."

What don't you like about working at SRA International?

"The salary is very poor, the management is uneducated, and SRA will ignore you when your offsite."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have no suggestions that could help the management I've worked under."

"I learned how not to manage and how not to treat people."

What do you like about working at SRA International?

"I used to like the culture (honesty and service) but with the recent changes that changed. Also, my coworkers were awesome. Everyone was friendly and nice."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be aware what you are getting into. Mostly SRA looks for military folks (retired or separated) and men. Women better have a thick skin."

What don't you like about working at SRA International?

"I didn't like being reprimanded for every little nitpicky thing that went wrong whether in our control or not. I also don't like the misleading (lying) management does to cover their backsides."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust your employees. Let them excel and grow. Don't put them down in order to satisfy yourself."

"I believe SRA is an excellent company, but I am personally not at all satisfied with my specific job and role."

"Management that is truly dedicated to the staff and our mission of Honesty and Service."

"Nothing bad to say, I am seeking work outside the realm of federal govt. contracting"

"SRA was a great company before a big management change. They fired two of my program managers and then my direct manager."

"The employees are great. I meet a lot of great people and I continue to have relationships with them today"

"They need to work on their management skills. We went through three program managers in less than 2 years."

"Be persistant. SRA is a great place to be connected and to work for."

"There is a favoratism among the managemnet that does not equally assess every candiadte on the same scale"

"Take better care of your long term employees - they have knowledge that can benefit you and hurt you if they work for your competition"

"Great company if you are located in the Virginia/DC area."

What don't you like about working at SRA International?

"Little business development in the Colorado area over the past six years. Little mobility within the company unless willing to relocate."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Policy and CEO direction have been to improve upon telecommuting/telework, yet in our remote location, the offering is non-existent. More focus/emphasis on employees in remote locations outside of the Virginia/DC areas."
