"I've worked for SRA International since 2008. They are a great company to work for, with good salaries and benefits. They are an ethical company that cares about their employees. I would recommend working for them to everyone."
"I've worked for SRA International for over a year. I can't really judge them entirely due that most of my work has been with the government clients alone and not with SRA itself. However, I have been cut off from all but one SRA member for the most part. In general, I do not like the tone SRA seems to set. They expect the best, but at times tend to not give their best back to their employees. It's kind of disheartening truly."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Know the project you are interviewing for. Ask about duration, client environment, etc. It used to be that when you interviewed for SRA, you interviewed for a career. It's not like that so much anymore, you're interviewing for a project and your job security hinges largely upon the security of that project."
What don't you like about working at SRA International?
"Compensation, as compared to its competitors, is subpar. Like any other company, idiots who have friends at the top get promoted. When you work onsite, you don't get a lot of face time with management and will often get overlooked for promotions and raises. The whole advancement structure is dependent on being nominated by someone else, so good luck getting noticed if you have a lazy manager."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay more attention to the people working on site - they're the ones actually making money for your company. Allow people to apply for promotions and make a case for themselves. Stop focusing so much effort on being a big, friendly tent - you have some very talented people in this company who you will lose if you do not compensate them appropriately. Identify your top performers and reward them so they don't go work for Booz."
