"Beltway traffic. I lived 40 mile from the office. The trip to work drained me more than the work."

"The management was great. My boss was very helpful in developing me in my position as manager. The company could offer more new solution and products to their customer base"

"Being micromanaged is no fun and neither is having so much to do you cant take a day off without worrying about the load you will come back to."

"NO, this is a complicated to give some advise after so long time out of this"

"To be more specific in task and orders"

"A good experience doing Triple play test equipment, I was the QA engineer and did all the tests including testbed setting, wrote test plan, cases, scripts and reports."

"Learn a lot of new stuff I never did before, such as setting up network and test environment, wrote test scripts (in Python such as like C++ OO language)"

"Interview is in general by luck even if one is well prepared after knowing what they want, there is no tip I can give actually. Because I have 5 managers in 3 years when I was there, you can tell how difficult I was."

What don't you like about working at Spirent Communications?

"The company get rid of people easily without considering his/her contribution to the company, many people laid off had been working for more than 10 years, I feel really bad for them. So bad thing is you can not do one thing wrong even if you have done 10 things right, only the wrong one will be remembered."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I could have done a better management than the current ones. It should be an open discussuion with open mind, manager should be willing to listen to any suggestion, and decide if it is feasible and if it is a constructive one. A lack of communication and help will only alienate people and hurt the morale as well."

"Very political. Upper management is not in touch with what goes on within the departments and the day to day interactions of their teams."

"Recognize that your teams are not working together."

"Surrounded by a lot of bright people. strong team efforts in all divisions, accept management."

"It is a great place to work! however it's a roller coaster when it comes to any kind of job security. don't make any large purchases ;)"

"lack of leadership, poor management of resources, unqualified upper management. sorry it's true :("

"get aligned, and support your people not only your check book! also learn about your own products!"
