"Eye to eye contact, dont come in with gum in your mouth, and be confident."

"Key thing about working with family dont do it. Its not a great idea."

"Don't be affaird to tell me I'm doing something wrong. Very open to talk to, I want you to teach me anything you can."

"The company's values were something that I believed in. When you enjoy what your company stands for, it makes work not only fun, but fulfilling."

"Have passion, be a hard-worker and smile, then you'll get far."

"The only complaint I have about this company is that they are closing down all of their individual stores and are going to be only on-line and in department stores."

"Always look to the future, never look back. You are only as good as your team is, so make sure that they are strong and that you always lead by example."

"not to lie to their employees, and be honest, pay their employees"

"I have the oportunity to help people get outside and enjoy the activities I enjoy. It also allow me to be a professional in those activities which affords me pro deals, inside industry access, and chances not offered to the general public (ski/kayak demos, pro deals, etc.)."

"Be active and love the outdoors, making sure to let them know what you do outside in your resume."
What don't you like about working at Back Country Ski and Sports?
"It is too small for advancement. It does not provide any challenges or chances for me to use my degree."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think the management is doing the right thing. It is too small of a company to hire career oriented employees and because it is in a college town and comes with good perks for a student I think the hiring paradigm is effective."
