"Poor management in the software development group. Zero innovation and very bureaucratic atmosphere. Like a real-life Dilbert cartoon. A stifling, politically correct atmosphere."

"You can trust your employees. Give them an objective, the desired delivery date, and the resources, and they will make you look good. You don't need to approve and second guess every decision."

"Everything is bogged down in bureaucracy. There are too many people trying to build empires that add little value to the business."

"Start trusting your employees again. Stop being penny wise and pound foolish."

"Be relaxed, be yourself, and be honest about what you know and who you are. Christus USFHP is one of those rare places where you can be yourself."
What don't you like about working at Christus Health?
"The commute is terrible from spring to 610 and 290. I took a large pay cut for job flexibility in order to attend school for pre-med. That plan is now shot do to lack of family support and my wife's recent pregnancy. I now need to get my I.T. career back on track. I am interested in moving into a management role and do not have the growth opportunities that I require at my current place of employment."

"The management at Christus USFHP is among the best that I have worked with. My advise is to keep up the good work."

"There will be a coding test. So only those who have actual 2-3 experience could apply"

"Work Culture, more managers than workers, package, hike can be better"

"The managers can get some technical training before taking over the project"

"The individual that would be filling my duties would need to be a high energy, highly organized team leader with the ability to follow through with a project with minimal to no supervision. Highly educated in object oriented design and the ability to pick up new programming languages on the fly."

"Management has issues setting project timelines. I would suggest more work in this area."

"I was not challenged enough at the job. As a fresh face in the working world, the company offers a great opportunity for a good entry level position; however, after being there for so many years, I felt I was not able to reach my full potential because of the lack of challenge and there was no room for advancement in the company"

"The majority of communication about the business is funneled through your managers. When employees resign, the top reason for their resignation is their relationship with their manager. People leave managers, not jobs or employers."
