"Be a go getter get things done attitude. Don't talk to much about your personal life."

"No down time, never leave the office (electronic, communications, remote, blackberry) mgrs. expect constant availability. Work volumes were ridiculous, all staff were pressed and projects under resourced. Mgt. not realistic to day to day. Old boy network for advancement. No real appreciation for work done. Ran by project with limited financial resources with many consultants no bench time allowed (finish a project and you were out unless another project was available immediately."

"At the time I worked for AT&T, the company offered many opportunities for employees to advance their careers. Until the final phase of my career with AT&T, performance recognition and opportunities for advancement allowed employees to strive for continued improvement."

"As time advanced, recognition for personal and professional achievements was diminished. Workloads increased with continous downsizing and no compensation."
