"Loved - the daily challenges of the position. The interaction with my subordinates and superiors, the friendly culture of the workplace.Hated - the fact that getting promoted became harder and harder as the company grew since the revenue "gates" for making promotion also grew, making it harder to meet them even if you were doing fine."
What do you like about working at Oracle?
"Technology and business process leaders. Work with other highly-motivated individuals. Atmosphere of continuous achievement."

"Most roles require very deep Oracle product expertise. Be sure to be able to articulate your specific knowledge/skills/abilities."
What don't you like about working at Oracle?
"Nothing specifically. The company is a good place to work."

"None specifically. Management is typically focused on the right things."

"Be careful, ask many questions, understand the expectations and locations of assignments."

"The compensation, no annual salary increases, staff augmentation mentality, not a lot of support form management."

"Manage your people better, understand skills and experience and staff appropriately."

"- leadership does not take obvious steps to improve performance- input from everyone is not taken into account in decision making"

"Ceridian was fast pased, and a good place to learn the HR/Payroll/Benefits administration business."
What do you like about working at Ceridian?
"Exposure to different businesses within Ceridian, and different client corporate environments such as KMart, Royal Bank of Canada, and NBA sports franchises to mention a few."

"Be people savvy, and open to learning about the business from long term employees. There are multiple lines of business with experts in each one who know thier product, and/or thier customers."
What don't you like about working at Ceridian?
"The need for balance between client and strategic objectives in a way that could make both more successful."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Increase an orientation toward ITIL, and CMMI to improve overall process oriented operations. I understand that this has occured since the time I was at Ceridian."
