"Owner doesn't communicate with staff. Goals are unclear. Promises of commissions, bonuses, etc. that never happened."

"Communicate regularly with staff. Don't make promises that can't be kept."

"Rotate the personnel in different IT positions to ensure no single point failure in the event of lost personnel due to illness."

"Over my career, I have grown acustomed to a faster pace and I could not get use to how different departments would not or could not work together."

"Improve processes to insure departments are not so siloed that they are isolaated and cause an impact to productivity."

"The only recommendation I could offer, would be to focus more on the quality of the work, instead of a quick return."

"Consisted of differing cutting edge networks from wireless, to high speed transport devices to support IPv6 Internet 2 and the chance to stand up a VSS environment in preparation for a future move."

"No, I dont have tips for other ppl for this company. Not sure what I can advise."
What don't you like about working at Federal Reserve System?
"The technical innovation was limited by the constrains of federal procedures. The work was at a slow pace."

"Promote technical innovation. Reduce the paper work and elaborate procedures. Haste some of the decision making."

"in a time of layoffs, decisions of who to lay off should come from as low as possible on the management chain. They know who contributes and the company value of each person."

"If you are willing to commit yourself 110% go for it, but if you want a life outside of the company, if will cause conflict with upper management."

"Upper Management required too much of a commitment and if you didn't make it, you are let go."

"A normal employee cannot do 80 hours of work in a 40 hour work week. Be realistic on your expectations."

"The upper management groups are some of the best. From the Vice President to the Engineering Groups and Project Managers, they are some of the most knowledgeable and hard working people in the industry."

"Please do not go on Age. Let the younger people work for more responsible job if they are qualified."

"Management provides little to no training but is extremely quick to blame and point fingers. Management rarely if ever returns calls or emails. Communication is poor."
