"I have an extreme amount of latitude about how I accomplish my work. As a Senior Engineer I have been involved in automation systems, development of NRC regulatory guidance, and new application design for nuclear power plants. The wide variety of work keeps it interesting."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The company is in a state of flux at the moment. A portion of the company is being spun off into a new company. I would wait until they have stabilized before making a commitment."
What don't you like about working at Information Systems Laboratories?
"A cash flow problem has made it difficult for the company to be active in contract applications. This has resulted in about 3 months of no work being available for me. I would much rather be working."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be more proactive in making decisions that result in cost savings."

What do you like about working at RLK Hydro?
"The people and clients that I work with are the best part of the job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Consider other options for work in the Flathead Valley. Unfortunately, the company president acknowledges that staff is critical to the overall mission of the company, but cannot figure out how to facilitate progress."
What don't you like about working at RLK Hydro?
"The lack of vision and drive by the executive management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Find a leader that has the energy to grow the company and invigorate the staff."

What do you like about working at Dataprise?
"The people you work with in the company are great, with the exception of management"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"A lot of people leave after a year because they can't adjust to the ridiculous policies and procedures put in place. There are alot of obstacels that prevent you from doing your job."
What don't you like about working at Dataprise?
"Management has unrealistic expectations, especially as it relates to the renewal of customers contracts. Many customers are sick of dealing with the company and look elsewhere. No amount of work by the guys in the field can make up for the mess at corporate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire people with management experience!Improve product offerings. Stop looking for one-size-fits-all solutions."

What do you like about working at WorldCom?
"I was able to grow a position into an architect."

"Verizon Business (their new name) does a lot of different things than Worldcom did."
What don't you like about working at WorldCom?
"They folded under me and made my 401k less valuable."

"Learn to make better acquisition decisions so that stock values don't plummet."

"I was able to advanced my engineering skills in key areas"

"Dress nice and put your best foot forward. have a good attitude."
What don't you like about working at AMSEC?
"Dirty and smelly. During my 2.5 years, the carpet was never cleaned and needed it badly. My nose would run constantly while in the office."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep the office clean and maintain supplies for the employees"
What do you like about working at Alion Science and Technology?
"Our office has a good family feel and most in the office get along well"

"Can be an excellent platform into the industry. Work can be challenging and there are many opportunities for a young and motivated person to take on new tasks and learn new skills from experts in the field."
What don't you like about working at Alion Science and Technology?
"Upper management is self-serving and does not care about the employee. Though we are employee owned all decisions are made only to support board and C-level management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Gain more experience and ability by hiring knowledgeable people from the out side, not promote to management primarily from within and move skilled technical people with no ability to manage to management positions. Remove additional unneeded levels of management an focus on bringing in people that could gain work from existing customers as well as know how to find and gain new business.Stop having internal groups fight over elements of work available and punishing smaller business sectors by shouldering them out of their work focus to grab larger business that does not allow for business growth"

"Close to my home and good coworkers. Excellent environment and facilities."

"It's technically a challenging company. Too big to be noticed!"
What don't you like about working at Terremark?
"Bureaucratic Environment. Too many loop holes and steps to accomplish your work."

"Get down from the sky. Management should get more involved."

"I like the nature of work and the business that we deal with."

"As such, no tips to give, but be prepared to work hard."

"There is no work/life balance. There is a lot of pressure."

"Better work-life balance is necessary for employee retention."

"Specifically ask about your job responsibilities, to who you will report and what are the growth opportunity."
What don't you like about working at Levant Power?
"Poorly defined chain of command. The Company has no CTO and COO is trying to micromanage development even in the areas where he is lacking technical expertise."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have an honest assessment of pros and cons, hire a CTO with expertise in mechanics, electronics and software development. Do not afraid to hear critical analysis."
What do you like about working at Comcast?
"I enjoyed working with my fellow co-workers. There are lot of smart people that worked in the team and I'm happy to say that I learned from a great number of them, moreover made/developed some really good friendships"

"It's a good company to work for.......you'll learn a lot. However, be prepared to deal with the large company way of doing business"
What don't you like about working at Comcast?
"It's hard to move out of a product you have worked and become really good at it. For this reason management tend to want to keep you on the same product/project"

"To be more flexible/allow people to move to newer or other projects/products."

"This company was managed by engineers and they understood the business."

"The company does not exist any more and it had been a long time since I had worked for them."

"This company was very big and had a large engineering staff. It was hard to get much responsibitity"

"The company division was sold to Northrup Grumman. I an not familiar with the new management"

"There's nothing like working on a successful company. I've never experienced being so close to a game, patroned by so many users."

"The culture values communication, so even the smartest applicants would be denied if they are silent."
What don't you like about working at Self Aware Games?
"Frustrating development environment. Poor practices and lack of architectural foresight, made for many avoidable bugs and wasted cycles."

"Hire project managers so engineering leads can focus on development."
