I dislike obstacles to doing that, such as rancor between colleagues, confusion over requirements, or version differences between development, staging, and production environments -- but all of these things are challenges to work through, and not causes of failure to hate.Hate is a very strong word. "Don't do it. On the surface it seems like great company, but you will be thrown under the bus on a moment's notice."

"Fear of losing job, lack of sales assets, abusive senior manager of client services and deceitful owner."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Treat employees with respect and stop worrying about covering your own butts. Stop wasting money on employees who do nothing but have been there over 10 years."
"The pay is good, unfortunately the CTO has an explosive personality and will chastise employees in front of others and lie to employees. The Director of eServices has zero experience working with software development, does not understand the risk involved in working with large software applications and will undermine the team by pulling key people off of projects when on the critical path to work on vanity projects then blame other people for his mistakes."

"Some employees had little to no experience working in a Linux environment, so many responsibilities were on me. The mindset was imbalanced towards the Windows way of doing things so many great technologies and possibilities were overlooked until I pointed them out. It was daunting and a difficult battle, but once people saw the benefits, they supported the technologies.The work was very enjoyable and I broke ground with my development.
