"You must have the ability to accept change, demonstrate patience and the will to succeed.....All sales reps are hungry."
What don't you like about working at Premiere Global Services?
"Didn't like (I am a past employee) constant change in direction from upper management, self imposed blunders with billing - implementation of world class billing system(s) requiring skilled knowledge workers or degreed professionals to operate simply tossed by the way side versus hiring qualified professionals, constant turn over for Sales VP's."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"1. Talent is imperative at this point. There are many positions currently being held by individuals who are no longer qualified to operate today's advanced technology. 2. Adopt text book business 101 Ever successful corporation must have CHECKS & BALANCES; PGI continues to struggle with this. 3. Product roll out, should at minimum, be ready for beta. Don't race to go to market when the product is NOT READY; this embarasses the representatives- PGI doesn't understant what corporate responsibility is. Pull it together in 2011, PGI....The clock isn't ticking in your favor anymore..."

"While Tech Data is viewed as a very well managed company,the way they terated their employees left much to be desired. Bonus payments were often late, and frequently less than what was promised or earned. The corporate culture was great between co-workers, but a disconnect between upper management existed with the sales force."
What do you like about working at Tech Data?
"the aspect I enjoyed most at Tech Data was the freedom to prospect and open new accounts when I had the time to do so. I was able to grow my client base in a short period of time, which in turn led to a excellent referral base."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would discourage anyone I knew from working with Tech Data. This may sound harsh, but I feel strongly about the fact that quite often my hands were tied when it came to closing more business and increasing my client base."
What don't you like about working at Tech Data?
"As previously stated, the disconnect between upper management and the sales force was distinct and in most cases obvious. My feelings are that the overall sales revenue for Tech Data would increase tenfold if everyone could be on the same page."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I feel if upper mangement spent more time examing what the sales team was experiencing with their given accounts on a regular basis, the disconnect would be eliminated. Management can not expect to stay abreast of what is occuring within the sales cycle by only meeting once a month for a few minutes."

"Convergys is a ship without an anchor and appears to be preparing to be bought out."
What do you like about working at Convergys?
"I liked the people I worked with. The IT support was very strong. Operations worked hard to motivate employees."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This company will give you a vast amount of experience. It's a great place to start. Plan to move on within two years or be laid off."
What don't you like about working at Convergys?
"Very weak executive team. The company provides average customer service. Frequent annual downsizing reflects poor executive management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Find an executive team who focuses on clients and employees. Directors and above are focused on their own performance is perceived. Poor communication skills."

"The Team was great; management was okay; internet atmosphere - laid back, freedom of work"

"Poor Management decisions; mid year changes that had a negative impact on the overall company"
