"I joined Telvent in 2008. Telvent was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2012. The company takes good care of its people, and has many positive initiatives. My biggest struggle is that I have a background working for innovative software companies, and I want to continue to work for innovative software companies. Schneider Electric is not a software company. It is primarily an industrial hardware company. This makes driving change a challenge, but rewarding."
"Overall a pretty good company. On boarding process for new employees is a nightmare. Sink or swim mentality. Need to do a better job of hiring the proper talent. Too much process."
"Have been part of this company for 15+ years. I saw the company double in size starting 2004, mostly if not all by acquisitions. The company has adjusted their 3 year strategy, so called "company program", which was great to see in the last couple of years, as there was a significant need to become one and connect all BU's and functions. For my function, S&E, we see ourselves as a big family and a best in class in terms of communication and collaboration. At the corporate level there is not a clear strategy although they are working on it. So far a great ride, as they have taken care of me with multiple opportunities and growth."
"I preformed a packaging line improvement job and enjoyed the experience."
"I worked at Schneider electric for six months as a material productivity intern. I worked with the Supply chain department, quality as well as procurement to get experience on multiple product lines. I also participated in gemba walks and supplier based optimization."
"It's a great place to work with so many good people to work with. The atmosphere is fast-paced but has many benefits. Someone is always there to help out when needed."
"I worked at SE for 6 months and had a great time there. Everyone was helpful and kind as well as I experienced plenty of learning opportunities that I am grateful for."
"Schneider Electric is a excellent company,"
"I have work with two different divisions of Schneider. Good company, great people. Looking to expand my experience in a more challenging position."
"Nothing to say except the company was great to work for."
"It was a great experience to work for Schneider electric Egypt (oil and gas department)"
"Schneider Electric is a top-notch company but lack in Human Resource department."
"Working environment is good and people are nice"
"Great company for some hard well earned work."
