"Like any other job, there are ups and downs. Subway provided an easy start to becoming independent. It did get busy stressful at times, especially when a high number of customers appeared at once."

"When interviewing, just stay yourself. Being relaxed and calm while being interviewed helps tremendously, because it shows that in high pressure situations you remain calm."

"The schedule of hours for individuals to work may vary in release times, varies from one or two weeks at a time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Increase the schedule to span over 2 to 3 weeks for optimal working hours, including a measure to supplement workers to aid in unexpected increased demand."

"It is a great place to work. The co-workers are great and the pay is good considering where I work."

"This is a great job for anybody just looking to make some money while in high school or college. Just do the job you are supposed to do and you will do fine."

"There are no opportunities for advancement unless the manager leaves. The job is also not challenging."

"I would suggest that management takes the suggestions of its employees into consideration at least, rather than thinking their ideas are the only ones that matter."

"I enjoyed working with the boss when I was able to work with him, because he would listen to what the workers had to say about a particular situation."

"I would tell them that the job would vary depending on the employees at the workplace."

"The co-workers did not treat the job like a real job."

"I think the management was great. The boss needs to monitor the employees a little better though."

"Minimum wage compensation, stressful lunch time shifts, and cleaning food leftovers."

"Slightly better compensation, company growth initiatives, and overall better leadership."

"Nothing, I cannot think of any benefits of working at Subway."

"Do not expect breaks or food. Expect to make minimum wage for at least the six months."
What don't you like about working at Subway?
"No free food, no employee discount or breaks. You get put on call on your off days. The store is watched on camera and your every move is caught."

"A discount for employees. Tend to the employees and not just the customers."

"It was a relaxing steady pace, non stressful laid back job."

"Just smile, be energetic, and be honest."
What don't you like about working at Subway?
"There was no team work whatsoever I felt like I was doing everything myself."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They need to get it together. For one a schedule is made so your employees know when to plan for things outside of work, paying bills, doctors appointments, grocery shopping, etc. Also telling people that they have to come to work when they are off or you are going to write them up is very unprofessional and wrong."
