"I don't like that there's little follow up training or support. I'm a self-starting learner, but it'd still be nice to know if I'm actually growing as an employee or if I'm just spinning my wheels."

"It has been over 15 years since I worked for Home Depot, but overall they were a good company."
What do you like about working at Home Depot?
"It was a large, strong, well-established company to work for. They had good benefits, including an employee discounted stock option."

"Ask about the store management's philosophy on customer service, and ways in which you as the employee can excel and advance within the company."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"I did not like the store management's disregard for the company policy that customer service was the most important aspect, and less than qualified employees were promoted because they were friends of management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Always be equally fair to every employee, whether they are a friend outside of work or not. Always put company policies first before own personal ideas and agendas."
What do you like about working at Eli Lilly and Co.?
"I enjoyed the overall culture of the company. I felt that I had opportunities for advancement and honed my sales skills at this company. I was well trained in leadership courses as well as clinical paper selling and product knowledge."
What do you like about working at Stein Mart?
"Was just a job I took because I got laid off from my job as a purchasing Manager. I wanted to work until I got a purchasing job. It was a fun job. Something different and new. Got to meet lots of people and help women look their best with the clothes they bought."

"Just be honest with your answers. And always smile..."
What don't you like about working at Stein Mart?
"Sometimes we had to work until 1 am even after working all day if they had to finish inventory or clean store for corp. visit."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Plan ahead for inventory. Possible bring in trained people who can do this without keeping all the workers there for up to 18 hours."
What do you like about working at Dillard's?
"I like the customers that come in. I like the fact that I am able to meet many different people. I am exposed to lots of different situations, cultures, and personalities at Dillard's."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I think the company has potential but they would have to do a big turn around. If you can take constant nagging about sales and credit cards you can do it. It's not hard but can tend to be stressful."
What don't you like about working at Dillard's?
"I don't like the fact that we are rarely rewarded, but penalized for things (sales) that are out of our control."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I suggest that the managers take out a little more time with employees and stop assuming that they are not performing the job correctly."

"I enjoyed orchestrating sales."

"Look sharp and be prepared to be in a setting you are not used to. Be able to meet a quota or face termination."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"The setting was very fast-paced, and at first, meeting my quota was difficult. It's a difficult business to be in."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None as such - managers were excellent and punctual, and I had no problems with them."
