"Pay managers for the time and hours required to do the job and manage the untrained sales personnel."

"Just my coworkers, we all got along and became close friends."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"As long as you stand out, in a positive way, to the HR manager and listen to the instructions during the group interview, anybody should be fine. Not all of the managers are as horrible as mine, some of the other department managers are down right awesome."

What don't you like about working at Macy's?

"For some reason the company wouldn't do anything to fix the situation with that department manager. She would talk down to people and she had a very hard time understanding confidentiality."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My manager needs to learn to be a better person and learn to be confidential and not to transfer her anger to us when we are not at fault."

"Fun, nice workers exciting, rewarding, fun, awesome, protection plans and paper."

"Be confident, be able to sell the manager a pen or something like that. You got it dude."

What don't you like about working at OfficeMax?

"When customers were rude, when they brought in pets that peed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep working hard, Vern Allison rocks, get advice from him. Be nice to employees."

What do you like about working at Neiman Marcus?

"I like the good reputation and products. There is a pretty good customer base, and certain long-time employees are good."

"Be prepared to offer great service, but the real goal is to sell."

What don't you like about working at Neiman Marcus?

"I dislike the terrible management and lack of communication. Benefits are horrible. Marketing and advertisement are terrible. New employees have a tough time building a customer base."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Refinance the junk bonds which are holding back the company, and put some money into the stores."
