"The atmosphere of coworkers and customers always gives me cheer for the new day, if you ask me."

"Be courteous to the employees, try to help them, reprimand them on the side, not in front of everyone."

"Be a leader, not a follower. Show that you stand out among the crowd of the everyday drivers. Understand that the customer service is vital to the success for the business and that it is our main priority."

What don't you like about working at Safeway?

"Not a good place for career advancement. I have more schooling and training than most of my superiors. But it is all about who you know, not what you know. Only way to move up is if someone in higher position leaves. This is all for Safeway.com, not Safeway department stores."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To give me an opportunity to lead. I am more than capable of the position because of my experience as a driver. I know little things that can make the company more efficient at meeting its goals."

"I did not like the graveyard shift st times. Made it hard to go to school."

"Do not ride one or two people because they'll do the job. Make everyone responsible for their own part. Reward workers and don't let the manager that is married in through the Denver president, to manage a store."
