"I love working for Rutgers University Residence Life. I will never trade this experience for anything. I believe that I made lifetime friends and obtain work experience that will help me in the future. "The position was going to be only as a summer job but when my supervisor asked me to continue working I took him up on that offer ecstatically because of how much love doing what I do. While the resume gives a more formal description of my job, in much simpler terms, I am a student guide for all the incoming students who feel that they need help. It gives me great joy to be able to guide them in the right direction because I know that when I was a freshman I would have wanted a peer guide as a well. Making welcome packages and hosting online events is a small part of it, the main goal is to make the students transition into college life easier."
