"Passionate company with supportive employees and a powerful purpose!"
"There's no bigger goal than to improve patients' lives. That is what Roche is. It's an enormous company with plenty of opportunities across the globe and an amazing team of people."
"A good place to work, good culture and co-workers"
"Easy applying process."
"Ambitious respecting environment"
"Having worked in industry for several years I have this company to be one of the better ones. Benefits are on par with other industry leaders but the company does close down for holidays. Depending on your department moving up is difficult, where, most individuals work in Operations for a year and then jump to development the moment they can."
"Extremely driven with a strong mission. Tremendous collaboration in Operations."
"I’ve worked for Roche for over 1 year. I’ve found it to be a strong company with good ethical values and an emphasis on culture and belief."
"Good Company, Great People!"
"Confusing management demands."
"After working here for many years, I consistently had good experiences as well as the challenges that come with any large corporation. Could it be better Sure. But it really seems large strides have been made over the years making it a place very enjoyable to work overall."
"I worked at Roche Nutley for 13 years before a global decision was made to close the site down. My 13 years there were amazing. They took me while I was still in college and gave me a career. I will miss working there."
"I've worked for Roche for the past 7 years and have seen many changes within the organization. Great products, but they are always looking for the next easiest way to succeed."
"A fine place to work, unless you are a developer"
What do you like about working at Roche?
"Great people, commitment to quality. People really try to do the right thing."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Openness/honesty is crucial. Acknowledging limitations. Many people from different backgrounds involved in the interview, so there is no boilerplate advice."
What don't you like about working at Roche?
"Programmer/Analysts have no career path. All of this work is ultimately outsourced. Programmers end up in IT support roles. Cost cutting leads to higher and higher expectations without comensurate compensation and flexibility about working arrangements. Also there are so many reorgs that you end up having no long term working relationships (1 reorg a year, different manager a year in my experience)"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Provide more flexible working options, especially for people who are interacting with offshore teams."
