"I've worked for Progress Rail since 2011. It's been a challenging and rewarding position working in the engineering and track services department. The railroad industry is completely unique and requires a lot of training that can only be done on the job, which has the ability to allow for growth."

"My job is amazing they allow me to learn everything and are open to me helping out. I did a complete fixed asset depreciation schedule for all there fixed asset and they were so impressed to put me in at senior analyst so I can work on all their material and they put their trust in me to work with everyone and allowed me to take point on setting all standards for material. I was given my options learn and do more work that only people with more years were allowed to have. I only look for a new position to hep my family out. Medical problems and health issue caused me to try to look for a next step in position so I can better provide for my family."

"I've worked for Progress Rail under their locomotive services as a technical coordinator for 1.5 years. at the lowest levels the job is fantastic but the mid-level management is severely misguided and incompetent. The Work is easy and simple and requires a lot of high level thought for data analysis. My immediate supervisor is fantastic."

"Working for ProgressRail for close to 10 years I can definitely say they are a fantastic company to work for. The CEO/VP/Management are all easy to get along with and take recommendations seriously.I would like to see a better compensation package. Just because we are based in rural Alabama doesn't necessarily mean that we shouldn't get paid for our talents the same as our partner, EMD."
