2.5 I feel that as a manager, one should have a complete understanding of people. Everyone has something that may be going on in their lives that may have an effect on their day to day living. Many managers these days do not have people skills. They have one thing in mind and that is that they are responsible for the job itself and not the employee. I feel that management does not care how an employee may be feeling that particular day and when you approach an employee, whether it be a business matter or anything for that matter. You should keep in mind that you are speaking to an employee and not your child. I have always noticed that some managers who get up on the wrong side of the bed, tend to bring that situation to work with them and carry it around all day exposing their employees to their displeasures of what has happened outside of the office. When an employee does that they are immediately told about it. I feel that this should be a two way street. If someone is going through a situation that is not pleasing for them, if at all possible, leave it outside of the office and remember that everyone that is in that office should have the goal of making sure that the clients are receiving top notch care and service.

2 I was on the indirect auto underwriting side for with PNC for many years & just recently got the courage and strength to leave and it’s the best decision I’ve ever honestly made in my career. I think 1/2 of the team resigned during the last 6 months there. There is really one manager who actually treats the underwriters equally and with respect. Other 2 favor specific employees that have been there a while and are “stuck in their ways” so those individuals end up getting away with errors or can break company policies and get it brushed under the rug. One manager is married and screwing another manager in another department, and is definitely not a leader. The other is just a miserable guy all around and brings negativity within the culture. Dealerships don’t want to send business to PNC because even if they do get a deal bought on an exception, the customers are already in and out of there on the road before the decision comes back since nobody has any lending authority there and managers prioritize meetings before they’ll approve a deal quickly to hopefully earn the business. Some employees get on and work overtime during lunches or days off but others are scrutinized for coming back from lunch 5 minutes early because they just wanted to be responsible and go a little above and beyond. Good benefits but pay is lower than average for the slave work.

2.5 I was a QA test lead in PNC(TCoE). I am going to tell you my experience with PNC and it's just my subjective opinion. Onboarding and the offboarding process is awful, with no KT or directing the new employee to the right workflow. It is impossible to find any documentation related to the project. Poor weak hardware laptop is provided for automation with Windows 7 (later upgraded to 10) system which is glitching periodically. Scrum master's answer is 'I don't know' for any question. The management system is in very unprofessional level and not organized. Developers' manager doesn't understand overall concepts of developing and hiring devs with backend background for frontend project. A lot of ghosts employee who is doing nothing, more truly, they come to have their lunch, drink coffee/tea, and wash their dishes after all. There is no proper environment for testing, everything should be tested in devs' machine which is unstable and available from time to time. So many messes are in the whole Sprint duration. Releases are constantly postponed due to other dependencies. PNC's new up to date web application cannot emerge because of all these kinds of issues in management. If you try to open a PNC web app you will see an old design that is even not responsive. I wonder whether the stakeholders aware of the lame PNC application. I can continue to criticize every detail of the PNC working process for a long time but want to say PNC manager could fire an employee for no reason even everything is done on time and properly. Instead of appreciation employee could get fired or get stress.
