They said there is no time line for me to get the promotion but I have to do all the work for no increase in pay."

"The job that I do is prep Meat that’s it there are many different jobs in my place of work but I’m a meat prep and let me tell you it’s not easy at first but over time it gets easy and with you is the back of the house meaning you don’t deal with many people which is relaxing after a while. Most of this falls on upper-management - starting with the request for a cost-of-living adjustment, which was refused, paired with 12/13 hour days with a schedule that included almost all closing shifts and all holidays and weekends, unless a special request was made. There was talk about rotating weekends and holidays but ultimately, they were just words that never came to fruition."

"I don't like serving anymore. I would much rather be in a management position."
