"Be very carfeul of fellow employees."
What don't you like about working at Brooklyn Hospital Center?
"The Brooklyn Hospital had no structure when I was there. There was mad confusion especially from top management. and lots of nepotism going on. last but not least most people were not qualified for the positions they held."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management has to make sure that employees are treated with respect, and make sure that there is some structure in the company and not intimidation. These employees should alos have a voice"

"Nothing, it was a fast pace family atmosphere."

"Since the company downsized not sure what to say to boost morale."

What do you like about working at American Spring Wire?
"The people! The bottom line was Mr Larry Selhorst was the best CEO I ever worked for. There was not one job at that company that he could not do. So he would never ask you to do that which he would not do. You must respect that kind of leadership!!"

"If you are blessed to get an opening here, remember this is old school. Act and interview accordingly."
What don't you like about working at American Spring Wire?
"Being a Specialty steel manufacturer there is little growth opportunity. Therefor, you must be willing to stay in the position you currently hold. And many of us did just that. I worked in the Accounting/Finance Department with a great team, but now the pickings are slim."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Tim, go back to your roots. To the discipline and integrity that your father has/had. Remember guys like Mr Kwasny and the other elders of the company. They sweated alongside the rank and file workers. That is what made ASW work."

"Due to the fact that this was privately owned by members, it was as if you were owned by them. This was my personal feeling. Many others may not feel the same."

"Started out with an in house payroll system, then was involved in placing an outsourcing payroll service in the company."
What don't you like about working at A.T. Cross?
"that they moved the operation overseas which meant workers lost jobs. the product was a well made product in the states."

"Wish they could have kept it going in the United STates."

What do you like about working at Fred Meyer?
"I was trusted with the responsibility of making judgement calls by appying company policy, procedures and applicable contracts. I had the backing of my superiors, and would be allowed to explain my reasoning if it was not obvious. If I did make mistakes, I was not punished but trained and allowed to resolve the issue."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Enthusiasm! Be eager to work and be commited to the position. Promise focus and true caring about results."
What don't you like about working at Fred Meyer?
"Sometimes policy would not allow me to do what my internal customers requested. This was especialy difficult if the request came form someone who had authority at a location and was not used to being told no!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Equip employees with the tools and authority to do their job. Trust them to make good decisions until they give you a reason to not trust them. Support and respect your employees, and earn their respect by following your own policies and setting the ideal example."

"I thought the atmosphere was professional but also down to earth. Everyone seemed to work together to accomplish the end means. They appreciated the employees as part of a team and not overlooked by management."

"Nothing. My experience was an enjoyable one."

"I dont' believe I was with Quik Lend long enough to give a fair and adequate review."
What do you like about working at Quik Lend?
"What I liked best about working at Quik Lend was the challenge of learning a job for which I had no prior experience and being able to prove my ability to be a fast learner and demonstrate how quickly I can adapt to the culture of a new company."

"The only tip I would have for someone interviewing for this, and any other company would be to bring out some of your personal characteristics and qualities during the process. Your resume will speak of your experience, abilities and capabilities. In the end, the employer will likely hire the individual who is well rounded and able to effortlessly bring the two together in a manner that will benefit the company."
What don't you like about working at Quik Lend?
"What I lament about the short duration of our employment at Quik Lend, Inc. was that we did not have the opportunity to carry out the plans of transforming the back office into a strong foundation of support for the field employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would advise the management team to be more involved and available for approvals/signatures needed to complete tasks that require such."
