"Don't expect to ever know everything. Expect to feel dumb for the first year you work here. Accentuate your flexibility and ability to work in a poorly-defined environment without a lot of supervision."

"Poor upper management. Extremely enormous and complex coding environment. Poor developer support. Poor ownership of code areas."

"Ask front line workers what works and what doesn't. Ask for specific feedback on their management chain without fear of repercussion."
