"It is a good company. The problem is that there is not many opportunities for advancement. Also, I think they compensate more on benefits as opposed to direct wages."

"I've worked there for 3.5 years and it is a great place to work. The benefits are good and the people are good. There is plenty of opportunity to move up and a healthy work environment."

"My experience with Paychex Inc. has been mostly positive. However, there is a high degree of turnover as is found with most companies in the payroll industry. I have been fortunate to be part of the number one team in our zone this year. However, many of my equals located in other branches, often complain of absentee management, poor training, and high turnover. The company is going through what I would call Growing Pains. Policy seems to change on a regular basis and leads to confusion."

"I have worked at Paychex for many years. In the beginning there was a lot more fun and a team environment. Lately though, there has been a lot of micromanaging, database requirements, WebEx trainings that should be done live and an overall push to make results look better. Instead of worrying about the stats, go back to the relationship that has been sacrificed for the statistics. The relationship they used to foster is hard to develop in a statistic driven cubicle."
