"Selling software at Paychex is an incredible experience and you get to hunt for the business and choose the vertical to work."
"I have worked for paychex for about a year and a half. There is much opportunity to be financially successful. The harder you work, the more money you make."
"I spent seventeen years at Paychex and received excellent training in payroll. As the company grew the ability of the individual to make a difference decreased dramatically and their goal for the payroll specialists was sameness. The use of call scripts and unnecessary forms as well as a poor software conversion led me to leave. They are a great company with excellent benefits but have lost the personal touch they had when I started."
"Paychex is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in outside sales. The freedom and flexibility of how you manage your pipeline compared to the avenues they help provide you with make it possible for almost anyone to succeed."
"I've worked there for 3.5 years and it is a great place to work. The benefits are good and the people are good. There is plenty of opportunity to move up and a healthy work environment."
"Strong company culture and emphasis on values. Great place to begin one’s career."
"Paychex has a great sales training program. They are a great entry level sales job. If you follow the system, you will to fine. You need to be good at partnering with your co-workers to get the most out of the compensation plan."
"It is a good company. The problem is that there is not many opportunities for advancement. Also, I think they compensate more on benefits as opposed to direct wages."
"I've been with paychex for 3 years. I have sold and been a manager during my time. The training is best in the industry. Career growth is available for top achievers. Where paychex falls a little behind is on rep compensation. If you hit all your objectives you can make some good money, but if you miss one, your pay will suffer."

"Paychex has a great training program with some solid systems in place. The CEO and upper level management are trustworthy and forward-focused, and they communicate very well.
