From a consultant's perspective, it is a huge, impersonal company with so many levels that it is hard to figure out how exactly things work. There are groups aligned by product and others aligned by industry. There are solution architects that that don't work directly for the group implementing the solution. Sales is not tied to aligning with internal consulting resources and may prefer outside partners."
