"I have worked from Norwegian Cruise Lines for the past 2.5 years. Their PMO structure is lacking organization and real change. Typical Corporate environment that doesn't have the true handle on budget, projects or applications that are currently in flight"
"I started my career at NCLH in 2017. I have moved to different teams all within IT various times. One of the best things about NCLH, are your co-workers. I can truly say the people I have worked with here, have been some of the hardest working employees I have seen. There isn’t a lot of turnover within IT, a majority of the employees have been with NCLH for 15+ years. One the items that I struggled with, and I believe many others, is constant Organizational Changes. In 2018, the company started and IT reorganization that has yet to complete. It leaves a lot of people feeling lost, no sense of leadership, no guidance."
"I love working at Norwegian, a great company with great opportunities. Norwegian is a leader in cruising. Great benefits and opportunities for career growth."
"Misleading promos and deals. Always changing policy and procedure. Will make you work overtime if enough people don't volunteer. Change your schedule every 3-4 months. Won't work with you if you're a parent to young children, religious or trying to attend school. Never keep employees fully updated, which has us also misinforming the guests and agents. And you're the face of many departments so have to try and do everyone's job for less than adequate pay."
"Good company to work in... I was hired to review the current architecture and perform major Oracle, Mysql, Postgresql database upgrade and to fix architecture issues."
"Office politics are the name of the game at Norwegian. Being good at you job, being friendly and on-time daily don't matter if "they" personally don't like you. Attention Contractors: they let you know EVERYDAY, you are a 'step-child'."
