"The opportunity to configure routers and switches, implement RADIUS and SNMP on PDUs in Vienna and Hong Kong, install line cards in 6509 Cisco Switches, etc. This was a wonderful experience that will last forever. I was allowed to work with a group of Senior Network Engineers that were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the students learned value skills relevant to the current networking industry. I couldn't have been in a better place at a better time. The equipment and devices, staff, and location made a big difference in my learning experience."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do your best to get in. You won't regret it. You will have the chance to put your hands on devices, configure, troubleshoot, etc. This is a company that I would love to work for and plan on applying with ASAP. I'm just waiting to pass the 2nd part of my CCNA Certification Exam."

"Allow students to remain longer if possible."

"I would like to suggest that appraisal should be done every year as last year there was no appraisal."

"the working environment is excellent and the kind of support which we get from our seniors is remarkable.There is ample opportunity for everyone to explore new things and learn new things within this organisation. Also not to forget the transparency the organisation has with all its employees."

"Be calm and clear about what are your priorities in life and will you able to accomplish all these while working with the company. Be fundamentally clear about your technical knowledge. Don't bluff if you don't know an answer."

What don't you like about working at Nokia?

"The lower package as compared to the years of experience. There is no proper way to decide the compensation given to existing and new joinees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think the management should really take care about the decisions while giving a higher salary to a new joinee, while the existing gets much lower even if he has a more experience. This just leads to lower output from the existing employee out of frustration."

"Employment opportunities are fast disappearing in the Irving, TX facility."

"My experience with Nokia was special. Due to the fact that I reported my manager's wrong-doing, this manager used all power to revenge the worker's report to the upper leader, but management has no idea how to protect in a situation like this."
