"It's been more than 1 year of journey with Nextgen Healthcare, I have joined Nextgen as a client support repetitive."
"I've been working with this company from last 1 year and i see work culture is very good and as managers are really good in conducting productive meetings. Its a very good experience and got a chance to learn few technologies."
"Good company in theory. Has trouble executing and performing Revenue Cycle services for their clients."
"job was great with learning about the medical side and applications as NextGen. also learning to create and make better work flows for user and doctors.great all around experience with the people"
"I’ve worked directly for Nextgen for the past 2.25 years, and with Nextgen 3 years prior for a small start-up custom content development company before we were acquired by Nextgen. Nextgen has great values of being trusted advisors to our clients, however, their processes do not value employees and I find myself constantly in a state of burnout due to most teams being understaffed. I find that most of their processes are outdated, and they are resistant and sometimes unwilling to change. The product line that I help manage is the only product line that develops following an agile process instead of a waterfall process. Being agile allows us to deliver more impactful and flexible releases to our clients, but maintaining this process is a constant battle internally as outside managers do not appreciate having different methodologies and services to meet the needs of our clients. The healthcare industry is not a “one size fits all” industry, and unfortunately Nextgen does not always work well with this mindset."
"Good place to work. Enjoying working there."
"Good Company with Good Pay. Benefits are good and technology is good."
"Operating model needs to be streamline and restructured."
"It was a great experience"
"I've worked for ThermoFisher which was both a positive and negative experience. Positive in that it is a company that can make a difference within society and the role was one that enabled me to make meaningful and strategic contributions. Negative in that it is a company in constant change and adverse to making decisions beyond acquisitions."
"I have worked for NextGen for 14 years. Great benefits. Great group of talented people. Disappointed that after many years of interesting and fullfilling software projects, management has decided to move R&D to India."
"The company and leadership are terrible."
"I worked for Nextgen for 8 years Company started off great treated its employees like gold gradually all the perks ie free catered Friday breakfast... no Christmas gifts... then no Christmas party at all . Work wise they provide all the tools to be success however this company will sell its own mother to save a dollar. All req were being filled increasingly by off shore resources. I fear the product will suffer"
"I worked at NextGen from May 2013 to October 2014. It was a medium sized company working on Healthcare software."
"I've worked for NextGen > 10 years. The company started out as an amazing place to work. Changes in leadership, layoffs, and cuts in benefits have left the company without direction. Morale across the company is in the toilet. The company mantra states "working together at all levels," but in reality we are incredibly siloed. Management seems unconcerned about employee satisfaction."
