What do you like about working at Newman Regional Health?
"I enjoyed the opportunity to complete an internship within the organization I was currently working at while completing my Bachelor's degree."

"Be prepared to support your education and other certifications because important for records in a health care facility."
What don't you like about working at Newman Regional Health?
"I was not given an opportunity to learn as much as I would have liked, mainly due to my short time available there and the departments current workload."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There is a concern from many departments that their issues are not being addressed sufficiently. I suggest they work to mending that relationship."

"Newman Regional Health has given me many educatational oppurtunities and have trained me into all areas of the lab that I had not previously had experience in."

"The hospital is in financial difficulty. Make sure your job will still be there in a couple months."

"There are no career advancement oppurtunities at Newman Regional Health."

"Listen to your employees. They know what is going on day to day."

What do you like about working at Newman Regional Health?
"I mostly worked Med-Surg-Peds and I loved the post-op patients, because most of the time you took care of them, and you saw them get better and go home. With post-op patients there was a lot of pt. education which I really enjoyed."
What don't you like about working at Newman Regional Health?
"I can't really think of anything except when I finished my degree they wanted to transfer me to another unit, another shift. I lost my seniority and very little wage increase."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have policies that try to keep long term employees."
