"I was not given an opportunity to learn as much as I would have liked, mainly due to my short time available there and the departments current workload."

"There is a concern from many departments that their issues are not being addressed sufficiently. I suggest they work to mending that relationship."

"The hospital is in financial difficulty. Make sure your job will still be there in a couple months."

"When I worked at NRH is was a good place to be and I felt valued."

What do you like about working at Newman Regional Health?

"I mostly worked Med-Surg-Peds and I loved the post-op patients, because most of the time you took care of them, and you saw them get better and go home. With post-op patients there was a lot of pt. education which I really enjoyed."

What don't you like about working at Newman Regional Health?

"I can't really think of anything except when I finished my degree they wanted to transfer me to another unit, another shift. I lost my seniority and very little wage increase."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have policies that try to keep long term employees."
