"Travel schedule was too aggressive. Spent more time travelling all over North America and not at home with my wife and newborn child."

"Spread the travel requirements around among more of the Audit Staff instead of leaving it all on a select few."

"Be prepared to learn on a daily and weekly basis and let them know how much you are focused on building your business. 25 plus contacts per day is a good start."

"The requirement to meet sales quota in one product type instead of a blended product sale goal minimum. Can not focus sales as clienteles needs dictate."

"Offer two or three main programs for contracted agents so their focus will be good for their business."

"I enjoy learning new things and working for a very financially stable company that takes the time to train their new agents very well. I liked my boss very much. He was always supportive."

"Be prepared to work very very hard and have a lot of self doubt if you can do well in the Insurance Sales business or not."

"Be ready to starve for at least the first year or two. You will think about going on welfare before you really start making money but then it is OK. The flexibility in hours works well for families (you can actually make it to the school meeting with your wife)."
