"This particular office, I was one of the originals that built this specialize office of New York Life from the ground up. It gave me a stronger sense of business and how technology can support and enhance the actual business."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"One of the best things I like about this company is that if you do what you are hired to do and nothing else, you will get a decent raise, based on your performance but you will not get a promotion unless you do more and demostrate that you are capable of doing more. Thus, this company motivates employees to grow and develop."

"Cross-training. Many businesses have various departments and each department do not know about the other and how they are related and how they actually work together. When an employee does not have a sense of The Big Picture it can make an employee stale but when the employee understands this, it creates a sense of team and increases the productivity of the employee."
