"Spend less on sales goal travel destination trips and invest in marketing to develop and retain new agents."

"If you like the freedom of working as a sales agent and you don't mind the pressure sales commitments then this is the best life company to work for. They are one of the few companies left that offers defined benefit pension plan."

"I don't like the pressure of sales commitments and the lack of inspiration and sales ideas for agents. I don't like the time wasting rah-rah meetings."

"Have more inspirational sales ideas for all agents instead of the same old rah-rah meeting."

"NYL is a great company for brokers/sellers... and then there's corporate. In summation it was a great company to work for. 2 years from now it will be again. That said currently they are going through a reorg and are alienating their newer employees by eliminating opportunity and growth."
