"Mylan is a great company that is growing very quickly. The management team is engaged and the company has excellent leadership. The mission statement of providing 7 billion people access to quality medicine is important to me and management truly believes it as well. The Morgantown WV area lacks in culture and other opportunities. That would be the only drawback to working at one of their many manufacturing plants in the US."

What don't you like about working at Mylan?
"Sink or swim attitudeComplete lack of adequate training programOvertime and weekend work expected but not appreciated.Management has no concern for individual advancement (through promotoion or professional advancement)Management has unrealistic high expectationsand does not recognize the milestones achieved only the unrealistic ones that were not achieved."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"THe model of overworking and underappreciating employees in combination with a poor training and no defined path for career advancement makes Mylan a great place to start a career because of the learning experience. However, the high turnover rate is very high for those who have already not decided to be lifetime employees (due to location). Small changes in the above management structure would make large effects in employee satisfaction."
