"Management does not know much about its associates. They very seldom talk to us and keep to their own group."

"Be human and mingle with your peers. We are your bread and butter. Be a manager, not a computer dummy."

"The ability to be promoted to other departments was available if you worked hard."

"It was not a bad place to work, the people were friendly, and the work was an adequate challenge."

"It was ultimately a retail position which I did not want with a degree."

"Provide employees with more leniency and the ability to feel rewarded."

"I dislike inadequate coverage and scheduling. There are too many nights and weekends. Open positions are not posted. Department supervisors spend too little time in their departments, and new associates receive little on-hand training."

"Address the issues above."

"I like meeting with the customers to keep them informed in the new products at Lowe's."

"Be open-minded and be very focused on the #1 customer service. Without that you won't sell."
