"highly political environment, both managers took credit for work done and focused on managing up vs. better management of direct reports."

"In recent years there have been few opportunities within QA. While I have consistently been given strong reviews and bonuses but I feel that new positions have not become available in the US."

"Keep your employees informed and focus. Trust your employees and they will trust you."

"The job security is good at a time when many companies are struggling."

"Understand what you are getting into before hand. While the benefits are great, the competition all offer better pay and utilize better tools (we still run XP and Office 2003). At the end of the day it's a job for college grads that are struggling to find jobs right now."

"No work/life balance, which is made worse by the below industry level pay. Overbearing clients that make any attempt at a day to day schedule impossible to maintain. Majority of staff are right out of school and only with the company because of the economy, which means most don't care about their work at all."

"Leadership is ok, while it could be better it's not the worst."

"There was a high turnover rate, but a low hiring rate which led employees to be overloaded."
