"Don't, it is a backwards company. That only cares about padding their own pockets."
What don't you like about working at Rust-Oleum?
"Don't get paid in a timely manner. It can take months to receive a check."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take care of your employees. They will work harder for you. A bit of respect and acknowledgement goes far."

"Be timely and professional. Dress for success. Firm handshake. Don't bring a coffee to your interview unless your bringing it for everyone."
What don't you like about working at General Communication?
"General Communications does have a strict business etiquette, such as dress code and a formal company handbook that must be abided by. The president of the company as well as the company controller do over see most of all company procedures. Younger, less structured or individuals may find it difficult to acquire and maintain a position here. General Communications Corporation strongly believes in the upmost professionalism involving all aspects of company association."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would like to see the development of a monthly company meeting where thoughts, suggestions, and company interests can be shared in an open group environment."

"they do a great job, I think that they are great bosses"

"Being in a technology driven environment, meeting people with similar interests, being able to expand my horizons in the field, being able to learn more about the campus."

"Turn around and run. The Tampa campus is horrible and the Lakeland campus is going under for government gain, there is no point in making the push."
What don't you like about working at University of South Florida?
"Being shut out of the schedule for hours, being constantly ignored and put off for required materials needed to be obtained from other departments, feeling of being more qualified than the department I should be working in and lacking admin access to computer privileges."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take more time out to meet and get to know the staff, be sure to address the many issues in the workplace, organize funding more appropriately."
What do you like about working at Susan Davis International?
"There is a great sense of professionalism and that our work is important and influential. I like the relatively fast pace and the expectation to produce good work without feeling overwhelming pressure. It is very easy to express to a superior when you don't understand something. They are also lenient about time off, vacations, etc."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This is a great place to gain experience and to be given a lot of responsibility early on. However, there is limited opportunity for growth and I would take a position here with the mindset that this will likely not be where your career reaches its potential."
What don't you like about working at Susan Davis International?
"The clients are not my taste- lots of nonprofits and military. I would prefer to do something for more creatively based clients. My coworkers can be cold and kind of unfriendly. I also feel that I don't get credit or compensation equal to the quality and amount of work I do."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would try to develop a culture where new employees don't feel so alienated. There is not a great sense of personal interaction and it doesn't seem, at first, like people care to get to know you. There is definitely a feeling that veteran employees are cold and judgmental towards new employees. Also, I feel that some of the senior level executives are given more credit than they're due. This can negatively impact junior level employees- it is not uncommon to feel like my boss instructs me to do a project in such a way that wastes time."
What do you like about working at Guthy-Renker?
"Co-workers were decent, hard-working, and friendly. Can't say the same for management."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"DEMAND that you come on as Full-Time STAFF. Otherwise, they will lead you on as Contract-to-Hire status for years."
What don't you like about working at Guthy-Renker?
"Extremely top-heavy with management. I have never worked at a company with so many VPs in just one department. The company survives on over-paid Management, and contract employees (very few actual Full-Time Staff employees). Management/Employee Ratio is 4 to 1."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management, stop acting as if you belong in a little click and start actually working WITH your employees. Start hiring more employees and less managers. And, for God's Sake, PROMOTE from WITHIN."
What do you like about working at Zimmerman Advertising?
"The location and weather. Many of the people in mid to lower management have great personalities. Its like being on the titanic and gathering together to shelter from the disaster."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Decline. Its not worth the pain you will get from working there"
What don't you like about working at Zimmerman Advertising?
"Its Terrible. They take 24/7 too seriously. Also they are abusive and nasty. Upper management treats people like they are machines not humans. Great place to be cursed at, screamed at and generally treated with disrespect. But no worries HR will cover it up"

"They need to stop the abuse and get back to the dream."

"The relaxed but professional atmosphere. The work hard, play hard approach. The future opportunities that come with working for a company like GoDaddy.com"

"No your tech and be prepared that you will be representing this company at all times in your life, even when you don't realize it."
What don't you like about working at GoDaddy.com?
"I think there are too many layers of supervisors. Meaning I work more with my supervisor's supervisor than I do with my own. It can also be confusing when the supervisors are not sending the same message downward."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be more open to suggestions from the employees and be on the same page as the other supervisors you put in command."
