What do you like about working at Susan Davis International?

"There is a great sense of professionalism and that our work is important and influential. I like the relatively fast pace and the expectation to produce good work without feeling overwhelming pressure. It is very easy to express to a superior when you don't understand something. They are also lenient about time off, vacations, etc."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"This is a great place to gain experience and to be given a lot of responsibility early on. However, there is limited opportunity for growth and I would take a position here with the mindset that this will likely not be where your career reaches its potential."

What don't you like about working at Susan Davis International?

"The clients are not my taste- lots of nonprofits and military. I would prefer to do something for more creatively based clients. My coworkers can be cold and kind of unfriendly. I also feel that I don't get credit or compensation equal to the quality and amount of work I do."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would try to develop a culture where new employees don't feel so alienated. There is not a great sense of personal interaction and it doesn't seem, at first, like people care to get to know you. There is definitely a feeling that veteran employees are cold and judgmental towards new employees. Also, I feel that some of the senior level executives are given more credit than they're due. This can negatively impact junior level employees- it is not uncommon to feel like my boss instructs me to do a project in such a way that wastes time."
