"They compromise customer service for profitability. Lately customers are no longer satisfied with our customer service and are going elsewhere compromising profitability."

"As a company they need to focus on more then just expenses. You have to spend money to make money."

"Once a specialty was established the concentration was on that specialty instead of broadening knowledge."

"The ability to work on many categories and be part of a nationwide team. Travel."

What don't you like about working at BASF?

"No commitment to US presence. We were always under the shadow of shutting down operations, and that did come to pass after I left."

"Go and call a few reps at the company and get an honest answer on how it is working there."

What don't you like about working at SMC Networks?

"Taiwanese companies are notorious for being stingy on pay packages. My first two years were very conservative and frustrating based on performance."

"Hire young, hungry and smart people who take to action first and learn without a lot of supervision. We were top heavy."

"Company focused entirely on technology and had many overlapping and dated processes. When they had leading edge products it flourished. However, when they failed to keep up with market dynamics, it went bankrupt."

"More diverse discipline presence in exec positions and spend more time improving processes and efficiency"

"I enjoy the fast moving and challenging environment and working with international cross functional teams"
