"I loved the liveliness of the company and what kind of energy the employees brought to the restaurant. The chef held everyone up to a certain standard and that gave all of us confidence and strength to get through each busy night at the restaurant."

"Be confident and really work hard for the company. The harder you work, the more respect you will gain and you can go far within the company."

"There wasn't much about the company I didn't like. It was a great company to work for and always tried to find the best in every employee to make them shine and move them up in the company."

"The higher up never really took advice or opinions of the staff. Most of the staff (waiters) all had very good ideas and were often inspiring others. The higher ups didn't want to ever listen to their opinions or advice. I thought working more a team would be more affective."

"That I can't be in two places at the same time. As creator/founder/owner of this company I wear many hats, with very little overlap in their functionality. My passion for marketing and growing the company, building the external relationships that bring the revenue in the door, is one my greatest strengths and something I focus on every day. This role, however, keeps me away from the office itself and erodes the time that I have to spend with the animals in our care, which is my second love in the business. To satisfy my need and responsibility to care for them I regularly work the closing/overnight hours after having been out in the filed all day. This doesn't leave much time for sleep or a personal life, but when you want to be the best in your field you stay creative. And it must be working. In our first year, we were given our industry's highest awards for service, customer satisfaction and product integrity."

"I don't really feel this is applicable as I am management. Every day I am analyzing our business. Looking at service levels, revenue, operational efficiencies, products, external relationships, other avenues for growth, employee satisfaction/development and customer retention."

"I like the people I work with and I like the energy the clientele provide in this face-paced environment. The money doesn't hurt either."

"This could be the best place to work or it could the worst. Be prepared for CHAOS."

"The structure/organization of the way some of the management team runs. It's sometimes as if this is the last thing they really want to be doing. There is not enough consistency."

"I would treat my staff in a rewarding manner for their abilities and help them improve on their faults without punishment. I would also have a more structured/organized training. A little more tidiness wouldn't hurt either."
