"Be prepared for long and arduous hours with a loan pipeline of about 130 files per month."

"I dislike management's inability to manage effectively."

"There are too many to list here."

"I was able to make good money but there was no balance, the pay would change almost weekly from salary plus bonus to no salary and a bonus if the loan closed. Young men run the company and too many coworkers were dating the boss and I was not able to stay out of any drama. I want to go towork and just work hard, no personal life at work."
What do you like about working at VanDyk Mortgage?
"At first there was a salary and the bonuses were good."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would not suggest working for them unless you are prepared to not be paid unless you close loans and if you dont close a loan within the first two weeks you are fired with no warning. I watched 5 people either quit or get fired with no warning. I was asked to go into sales since all calls I took led to a loan but then I was called on Thanksgiving and told not to come back with no warning or reason why. It wasnt even the owner who contacted me."
What don't you like about working at VanDyk Mortgage?
"Seemed as though you couldnt please the boss enough. He was always dating woman who came to work there and you didnt have a choice but to be put in the line of fire. Very unprofessional."

"This employer did not describe what they wanted during the interview. I was under the impression I would be the VA loan processor but they wouldnt train and I came to find out they wanted me to lead department, they never had done VA loans but didnt want to pay me to set up the department."

"I wasnt there long enough."

"I would suggest nobody interview."
What don't you like about working at Topdot Mortgage?
"The VA department was a mess, I received no training on how operations worked. There was actually no VA loan department set up when I came to work there. They were not sure if they even wanted to go through with lending on VA loans. Unfair to people applying."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To determine if they want a VA division prior to hiring an employee who puts in the extra time to find out the department was never going to be opened. No set guidelines to the company."
