"Be sharp and be very patient. Those who remain are on pins and needles."

"Internal management struggles and office politics. When I was laid off, I was one of the top reps on the floor. It didn't make sense to lay off a producer and keep someone who NEVER made their number."

"The ills of the old IBM PC have matriculated into the Lenovo business model. Leave the past in the past and be what you say you are: a New Legend; the meaning of LENOVO."

"Can't work well with my colleague. The boss doesn't care about the self-achievement."

"The leader should know each one's talent and know how to use that."

"The overall company strategy is extremely effective. The company works hard to maintain a culture that embraces the strategy. Compensation is OK."

"Use the word do a lot. We get a lot done, but some of it is done just to do... if that makes sense."

"My job is mindless. I read emails and repeat information to other people. There has been a lot of turnover in middle management making it impossible to develop rapport. I've had 9 different bosses in 4.5 years."

"Take advantage of employees various skills. Respect established roles and responsibilities so that employees would reliably know what is expected of them."

"fast pace environment, well balanced work-life, sometimes too chaotic, over-communicated but at the same time problem to find out who is responsible for what."

"Be dynamic, pleasant personality, outgoing, well informed about company, enthusiastic,"

"if you are not the right person in eyes of HR Director, you can do whatever you can to grow your career, you can hear only - NO promotion, NO career path... it is a land of HR Director.. and employees are just toys"

"be more visible to regular employees, praise normal workers, recognition is missing"

"The people and the level of collaboration on projects. The degree of stress was not overwhelming and they are very flexible with hours."

"Just be yourself, be professional but casual and whenever there is an opportunity for more responsibility, do not be bashful."

"The only fault I found in Lenovo is also true for just about every corporation operating in the US today. No matter hoe good you are at what you do, no matter how long you've been there, when quarterly results come in, you are looking over you shoulder wondering if you'll be part of a resource action."

"You will not find better managers than at Lenovo and I learned a great deal from each of them in my role as team lead."
