"Inconvenient location (far suburbs, expensive, distant from metropolitan center and attractions)."

"Kraft was a good place, however upper management may not have the clear goals needed to ensure a factory succeeds. Plant management may have the direction, but may have their hands tied with pressure from corporate management."

"Being micro-managed. Clear direction and the ability to do my job is what I look for."

"Be a manager. Let your people do their jobs. Coach them when they are stuck. Give them the direction they need and then let them do the job."

"After about 16 years of service the cost of living raises got smaller and direct reports were soon making several thousand more per year than I was being paid."

"Quit trying to cheat your salaried staff of compensation. There are so many restrictions on advancement that it is nearly impossible to make a good salary."
